A weird thing I find incredibly helpful for art/writing.

deadcantdraw:

Eplans.com is a website that sells blueprints for houses.

This might not seem that helpful but if you want a characters house you can make selections based on what sort of house you want them to live in.

image

Then browse through the results and find the house you want. Then you can view the blueprints and have a room layout for that house, which can help with visualising the space they live in.

image

It makes describing generic homes so much easier.

Honestly there are several better tutorials about drawing dicks on the internet, but people kept asking. Just a little sheet of misunderstandings people have.

Make Your Own Alkaline Vitamin Water

Find yourself needing a vitamin boost?

Click here, for complete recipe and directions of my five signature colour-free, sugar-free and bpa plastic free alkaline vitamin waters or get inspired to make your own combinations.

  • Recovery - This vitamin water is ideal for recovery post-workout or after a large bout of physical activity.  Blackberries and Cherries aid in replenishing oxygen in the blood while pomegranate and glutamine help to restore and repair muscle tissue damage
  • C*Power - This vitamin water gives you a boost of anti-viral and anti-inflammatory vitamin C.  With natural citrus fruits and camu camu powder, c*power is ideal for boosting your immunity after an illness or just keeping your body empowered.  This is an excellent combination for weight loss
  • Stressless - This is my favourite combination, the blend of watermelon and rosemary is divine.  This vitamin water is ideal for helping you balance stress on a mental and physiological level.  With the addition of B vitamins, hydrating watermelon and calming rosemary this combination is best used during times of stress or intensity
  • Digest It - Excellent for aiding in digestion and stimulating the colon and digestive tract.  With the combination of pineapple’s digestive enzymes, soothing, cooling mint and warming ginger, stimulating lemongrass, immunizing lychee and probiotics this water will aid in internal balance
  • Detox - Purify your blood and body with this awesome vitamin water!  Detox is ideal for the morning after a night out or when you are cleansing.  Created with hydrating coconut water, and fresh cucumber, nutrient rich coconut meat, detoxifying milk thistle and anti-oxidant loaded raspberries and blueberries, this combination will cleanse your body from the inside out

I see this all the time in fanart and I don’t get it. More power to people stylizing, but sometimes it gets a little ridiculous.

A quick note to the followers tracking this discussion: blush is a thing that happens to noses, but it doesn’t generally get this red unless there is something really wigging out in your body. Blush your noses, but please understand that depending on the way you draw or paint, it’s possibly not the best idea to make it this bright.I understand a lot of people use this as a way of adding colour to the face, but it’s really not the only (or the best, in most cases!) way of doing that. Instead, try using toning down the red and using the other parts of the face that tend to flush!

Know where blood vessels tend to gather, and also where the skin is most taut.
Also, did you know that the face has its own colour spectrum?? It’s true!

(Click the image for James Gurney talking about colour zones)
I mean, like, listen. If you’re intent on coating your noses in blush, there’s not much I can do to stop you. Sometimes it even works well! But if you’re going to use the “oh I need to add colour to my faces SOMEHOW” excuse then I’m going to have to tell you that there are much more effective ways to do that!

why do u friggen care wowie just let people do what they want

Ray Frenden reviews the too-cheap-to-be-true Monoprice graphics tablets. How do they stack up to industry standard Wacoms?

After spending a week with the 6.25“x10” Monoprice, my Yiynova and Cintiq remain unplugged and I gave my Intuos away to a friend. The Monoprice tracks subtle pressure variances and small movements with less lag and more crisp fidelity than any of the others. It is, put crudely, fucking awesome, in both OSX Lion and Windows 7 x64.

I have one of these, 10x6.5 I bought about two months ago for 48 bucks. It’s a billion times better than my old Wacom Bamboo and works like a fuckin dream.

ATTENTION ALL PENNY-PINCHING ART FRIENDS!!!

ooo reblogging this for potential future purchase
